Scout Sunday

Today was "Scout Sunday" at church. Sarah carried the Girl Scout flag to the altar before Mass - along with another 30 or so various flags carried by other Girl and Boy scouts. She did really great! After Mass, they took a picture on the church steps.

Nicholas got himself another cold at the end of last week. He's been mostly just snotty, but we kept him home for a couple days because something was going around his day care. Sarah got the full version of it, though. She was sick to her stomach in the middle of the night. We had to borrow a neighbor's steam cleaner to get the carpet clean.

Nico is getting around on his belly; he's still not technically crawling - more like belly-surfing. But he will get himself across the room, usually to chase a toy that he grabs and then flicks away. He's also seemed to stop falling asleep at the end of breast-feeding. For the most part, he's been falling asleep when we put him in his crib, but there's been a time or two lately when he's been so tired, he can't fall asleep right away.

The New York football Giants are in the Super Bowl this year. David didn't think they'd make it this far, so it's been a pleasant surprise. Sure hope they keep it up!
