Sarah had her first day of kindergarten on Monday Aug 27th. She's still going to GCDC at NASA, so she knows most of the kids and the teachers - only now they have curriculum for a full day. Nicholas also started day care so Alison could work full-time again. Nicholas is going to Miss Danielle's house, where Sarah went until she started at GCDC when she was 2 years and a few months old.
We went to the wedding of "Miss Beth" - Sarah's teacher the first year she was at GCDC. It was nearly 100F that day and the wedding started almost a half-hour late. But the reception was fun, and Sarah kept following Beth and her bridesmaids around like they were princesses.
It was the last week our pool was open for the summer. We tried to go as often as we could, and even had a big group together one night and had Chinese food delivered. Yum! We also went to the Labor Day fair at Sacred Heart Church here in Bowie. Sarah won at the ring toss, we went on a hay ride, and Sarah went on a pony ride. New pictures posted on the kids page!
